Joshua Winterswyk is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® and financial advisor with a passion for helping clients achieve their goals. Although he once considered a career in medicine, a high school economics course sparked an interest in personal finance that has never left. After majoring in business and finance at California State University, San Bernardino, Josh began his career at Citibank, where he gained broad financial experience. He soon realized he wanted to work more closely with individuals and families, which led him to join his mentor and Evermont’s founder, Brent Pasqua.

Today, Josh assists clients with comprehensive financial planning, including retirement income strategies, investment management, insurance review, and tax planning. He especially enjoys serving local Claremont clients and values the opportunity to build long-term relationships within the community. His approach focuses on creating plans that are easy to understand and empowering people to feel confident in their financial future.

Josh lives in nearby Upland with his wife, Brooke, their two young children, and their dogs, Memphis and Mila. Life these days centers around family—whether at home, taking trips to Disneyland, or spending time with extended family and friends. When Josh and Brooke have free time, they enjoy days in L.A., from trying new restaurants to cheering on the Los Angeles Football Club, where their kids are now part of the cheering section too.

  1. Regularly attends community traditions, such as the Claremont 4th of July Parade and the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony.

  2. Enjoys the global diversification of his pups, an American Boston terrier and a French bulldog.

  3. Loves to get on the dance floor, especially when ’80s music is playing.

  4. Goes all in for soccer as an American Outlaw and LAFC season ticketholder.
